The UTHSC ShortSig


The ShortSig is Not a UTHSC Logo.

It cannot be used in place of the logo in print or web ads, brochures, posters, flyers, or any other communications or marketing material which require the UTHSC logo.

When Can the UTHSC ShortSig Be Used?

It is sometimes acceptable to substitute the ShortSig for the UTHSC logo on wearables such as T-shirts, baseball caps and lapel pins. It is also used on certain other items that are deemed appropriate by Communications and Marketing. It provides a alternative UTHSC “identifier” when simplicity and boldness are called for, and the actual UTHSC logo is not required.

The UTHSC ShortSig cannot be used for:

  • Print or web ads.
  • Posters and fliers.
  • Brochures.
  • Letterheads.
  • Any communications or marketing material coming from any UTHSC college,department, office or program.

The UTHSC ShortSig can sometimes be used for:

  • T-shirts.
  • Lapel pins.
  • Baseball caps (and other wearables).
  • Other items as approved by Communications and Marketing.
